Prisoner Love

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I'm back with another lovely nail art design.

Black & white chevron heart nail art
Black & White Chevron with love
White: Sally Hansen White On
Black: Nails Inc Black Taxi
Red: China Glaze Adventure Red-y
Ah, the elusive chevrons. Why you so hard to make?! So I finally invested in a new pair of scrapbooking scissors since my old ones refuse to show up. The scissors are a pain in the butt to use because they don't always cut the tape perfectly. But for the most part, I got the hang of it and was able to cut out a few pieces to use. I just would use the same pieces of tape over and over again, wiping the excess nail polish off before reusing. It works pretty well as you can see. The lines do come out a lot cleaner than if you do it by hand! Then I used tape for the heart again, but you wouldn't be able to notice because it came out like crap. Oh well, it looks awesome from far away! The colors I chose kind of reminded me of prisoner jumpsuits. And my ring finger reminds me of a prisoner who is wearing the jumpsuit but got stabbed so is now bleeding to death. Not sure where this came from because now that I think of it...prisoners wear orange jumpsuits in real life. What up with that? Toodles!

  1. I think your nails look fabulous! I love the chevron print. I also think your heart looks great ♥ You are so right, trying to find a home right now is crazy! We aren't in a rush to get into a new home but it would be nice if we could find something that wasn't being sought after by like 20 other people. Crazy competitive!

    1. Thanks Ashley! And I know, it's hard enough to find the perfect home, but at the same time to have to compete with so many people for it! Ugh I worry for myself and other future home buyers! :( I'm going to be homeless because there won't be any homes left to buy!!

  2. Your chevrons look great and I love that the heart is a little sheer. That is a rather interesting association you made, there, girlie... XD
