Ok, so I am a few days late with this one. I have an explanation though!! I forgot. Well, I didn't really think about doing a NYE mani so soon, I thought it might have been scheduled for...today. Also it's been raining for the past 2 days so the lighting for taking pictures of my nails sucks. Total fail. I would mess up on the LAST day of the challenge! Nevertheless, here it is...my new years eve mani.

It was so hard to pick out pictures for this mani because this combo is just so photogenic! This is my second attempt at a NYE manicure...I actually wanted to do some sort of glitter gradient with white, because white is such a fresh color for a fresh start. I did it, but I wasn't too crazy about it and ended up removing it. I'll do a separate post on that later!

Here I started off with Butter London The Black Knight, which is probably my favorite black-glitter polish. It contains blue, pink, purple, and red glitter/shimmer, and the black base does not overpower the glitter which is what makes it so amazing! Then I used a makeup sponge to apply Tart With A Heart over the tips. I've used this layering combo many times before and never get sick of it! Tart With A Heart is a light pink jelly with different sizes of iridescent glitter and black microglitter, and looks amazing layered over black as well as over its own base color.
